1987-1992 studied Assyriology at the Oriental Faculty of the University of St. Petersburg (Department of the History of the Ancient Near East, under Dr. Rostislav A. Gribov and Dr. Sergey G. Koshurnikov)
1992-1993 studied Sumerology at the University of Münster, Germany (Institut für Assyriologie und Vorderasiatische Altertumskunde, under Prof. Joachim Krecher)
1993 graduated from the University of St. Petersburg with M.A. (supervisor: Prof. Igor M. Diakonoff)
1993-present curator of the Ur III cuneiform collection at the Oriental Department of the State Hermitage Museum, working on Ur III texts from the Hermitage collection (tablets currently being prepared for publication)
